Field Supervisor « Back to Staff Bios Main As a field supervisor, Jack is in charge of on-site management of subcontractors and tradesmen, making sure quality work is being performed that lives up to the Van Gogh philosophy of building superior homes. He is there to help troubleshoot and answer any questions that may arise through the construction process, and keep up with job site maintenance. Jack also helps with designing the kitchens and baths in many of the homes. Jack fell into the construction industry kind of by accident. While pursuing a degree from Purdue, he began working retail, selling building materials such as doors, windows, and other related products. After a few years, he became a kitchen and bath designer and found a niche that catered to his attention to detail and creativity. But he always wanted to be on the front line of home construction. After working with Robert Fischer several years back, and eventually supplying him and Van Gogh with materials, he joined the team.
